Askim F&B is a Norwegian retail chain selling organic and locally produced food products. The company’s story began more than 75 years ago, when a professor of agriculture came up with the idea of selling the products of local fruit and berry suppliers. This May, the newest unique and stylish store was opened at the birthplace of the company, at the town of Askim.
Impressive store for local and organic food
Pikval created individual shop fittings for the new store, both for the store space itself as well as for the attached showroom presenting the store chain’s history. The project was conducted in cooperation with our Norwegian retailer Svindland.
The same ideals of high quality and natural materials that Askim’s products all have were also incorporated into the shop fittings design. Chosen materials combine the client’s wishes with the architect’s views and the users’ needs. The shop fittings were also crafted to take stylish presentation, excellent usability and easy installation into account.
